The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, Bureau of Children’s Coordinated Health Policy and Supports promotes the use of the following evidence-based practices in the public mental health system (Community Mental Health Services Programs and their provider network) serving children/youth with serious emotional disturbances and their families. The use of evidence-based practices, programs, or promising practices are supported to ensure better outcomes for the services provided. Each evidence-based practice provides training and coaching of clinical supervisors and clinicians to implement the model with children/youth and their families.
