Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder Initiative (FASD) - SED/NDD

The FASD Initiative Serious Emotional Disturbance/Neurodevelopmental Disorders (SED/NDD) provides training to improve children's mental health providers understanding of FASD and its impact on a child and their family. Specifically, the initiative provides training in the use of a standardized FASD screening and assessment protocol for Community Mental Health Services Programs (CMHSP) and their network providers as part of the FASD System of Care.

The initiative works with the providers in the implementation of selected evidence-based and evidence-informed programs for clinical staff to intervene with families with children with a probable FASD at different developmental stages (young children, school-aged children, and adolescents).
